Session Coordinator (Part-Time)

 Hours: 14 hours per week

Salary: £12.50 per hour (£8,400 per year for this part-time role)

FTE Equivalent: £23,214 per year for 37.5 hours/week

Contract: 12 months, fixed-term

Location: [Gateshead / Hybrid]

Role Summary: Assisting with outreach, one-to-one support, and facilitating regular sessions for community members.


Role Purpose:

The Session Coordinator will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering educational and community sessions that align with NEDES’ mission.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Organise and facilitate regular educational and dialogue-based sessions.
  • Liaise with facilitators, volunteers, and participants.
  • Maintain attendance records and session feedback.
  • Ensure sessions are inclusive, safe, and engaging.
  • Support the development of new session content.

 
 

Person Specification:

Essential:

  • Experience in event or session coordination.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work with diverse groups.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and health & safety.

Desirable:

  • Experience in community education or youth work.
  • First aid or safeguarding training.
