discovery club Coordinator (Part-Time)

Hours: 15 hours per week

Salary: £12.50 per hour (£9,000 per year for this part-time role)

FTE Equivalent: £22,500 per year for 37.5 hours/week

Contract: 12 months, fixed-term

Location: [Gateshead / Hybrid]

Role Summary: Supporting the planning and delivery of community activities

Role Purpose:

Coordinate and oversee the delivery of all Discovery Club activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• LEGO Robotics Club (weekly)
• ⁠Music Club (weekly)
• Homework Club (weekly, with English & Maths support)

Person Specification:

Essential:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.
• Understanding of safeguarding practices.

Desirable:

• Lived experience or community leadership.
